Welcome

This is a blog about things I have made and things I have found, plus books and cats.

I make and adjust clothes, shoes and jewellery, recycling parts from charity shop finds and bits and pieces from everyday life. I figured out the methods to do so myself. The ingredients are inexpensive. Don't follow what I've done to T, think it through logically and you'll find a solution. Teaching yourself means you get something unique with an un-ridiculous price tag.
Today: sunny yellow to counter the rain and a funny book about cats.

Skirt - Charity shop

Sorting out my steampunky jewellery on the stand (mug rack) I covered with magazine paper pictures and varnished with glue.

Left to right: Silver watch necklace - H&M, daisy necklace - pendant from Topshop & chain and charm - charity shop, 'topaz' ring - charity shop, pearl strands - self made, teapot necklace - gift, gold filigree watch face necklace- self made, magnifying glass and key necklace - Acessorize & self made, ring of keys necklace - charity shop, sewing machine necklace - Topshop, fan necklace - self made.

Base: Key hair grips - gift, purple stone brooch - charity shop, roses oval brooch - charity shop, heart pendant - self made.

I got this for £5 because the metal fittings on the straps were broken. Pretty easy to fix with screws and nuts and washers:

Leather satchel - charity shop
Scarf - charity shop, flower hairband - Primark
Say hello to the plushie cat. If you can guess his name you are either a genius or your name begins with 'Z'.  I do not have anyone to take photos of me and I do not have a full length mirror so I suspect he may model some jewellery in the future.

'Stop dressing me up as a chocolate rabbit!'
Enjoy your Saturday
