This new winter coat from the vintage store is 95% wool, 5% nylon. I've always advocated that a warm coat should be at least 75% wool and 0% polyester as polyester or viscose mixed with wool or acrylic gives a rough cardboard texture to the fabric and not only will not be warm enough for snowy days but will not last as long as one with a higher wool content.
It was only £25. Not bad considering this one as a 70% wool content and is £180.
I took it in slightly at the back and am currently debating shortening it.
The cherry tree leaves are finally turning. The roses are still there though.
