If you haven't got matching shoe wax or polish, tiny scratches can be covered with acrylic paint. Just made sure you mix the colour perfectly and apply the paint carefully over each scratch with a tiny paintbrush. Once the scratch (usually a dark mark) has been 'erased', paint a thin coat over the area and blend into the rest of the shoe with fingertips.
Here the scratches were on the toes. As that is where the light reflects, blending from the centre of the toe outwards makes the paint fix almost invisible.
I also rubbed a little paint where the straps get worn being pushed through the buckle.
Here the shoe on the left had a scratch on the toe. Again, I've blended the paint from the toe outwards so it is disguised by the way the light reflects off it.
