An Ode to New Buttons

Oh Fever, how I love and hate your cardigans. They look so lovely and vintage inspired and are made of polyester, not wool which makes me itch. The inside is lined with soft jersey but not the sleeves which snag if you take the cardi off before your watch. They go bobbly in the wash yet are an expensive £39 if you buy them full price. The buttons are poorly sewn on but that's a good thing because you'll need to replace them anyway. In both the Fever cardigans I own, the buttons have either snapped apart or become chipped on their first or second wear.

It's such a shame because my navy cardigan is really warm, plus tailored enough to pass as a jacket. I wore the above outfit with elbow length gloves and it didn't look odd. Therefore, it was time for new buttons! I went for vintage ones on the basis that if they were going to break or chip, they'd have done so long ago.
