This is the perfect summer dress for me. It fits bust and waist without need for alteration, it's not too long (now I've shortened it by 16cm), it covers my back, the neckline is scooped to show off necklaces, the sleeves are short and the pattern is a summery floral cotton. It would be easy to make a pattern from it out of newspaper. The dress itself is only about 10 pattern pieces including facing plus the buttons and extra fabric for the belt.
Today I found some almost new dark red mary janes in patent leather and a jewellery tree.
