This is what my coat rack looks like. Since I have to wear a coat pretty much 10/12ths of the year or more I figure it's justifiable to have several. The lilac one is my summery cotton one, the red polka dot one is a heavier autumn/spring coat and the pale beige is also cotton.
The Cath Kidston bag (99p from a charity shop) I use to carry my shoes as I walk to work in trainers. The mint scarf was £2 from a stall. The polka dot scarf was an ebay treat, it's proper wool, lightweight yet warm at the same time.
This is a vintage M&S purse I found in a charity shop. Super classy and lots of pockets.
Today I also found a minty-blue belt, a smarties skirt and a peacock print dress.
I also found lots of books. Dear Oxfam, I don't know whether to be deliriously happy or outraged that you priced Diana Wynne Jones books at 69p each. I'll settle with happy since I've eaten chocolate chip cookies but seriously wtf! Ah, I guess am a lucky girl.
Sunhat for holiday (£4 from Primark). Silk scarf (50p!) from nice vintage shop lady. I have many stories about nice vintage shop lady. She is nice and funny and her shop is far from overpriced. Everyone there is friendly.
Shoesies. I have arch supports now and these are the most comfortable shoes ever. £22 from Clarks in the sale. It's not often I buy non-secondhand shoes.
I got this cute little dish to keep bits and pieces that have fallen off before I have time to sew them on again. Lately I've been collecting the hanging loops from dresses and skirts for homemade gift tags. Come Christmas I should have loads.
This crochet blanket is also a charity shop find. It lives on the back of my chair while it's more colourful sister lives on my bed.
